These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Move or Toss ("the App"), operated by Solid Systems, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Move or Toss, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Move or Toss is an iOS task management application that helps you triage items using a Move or Toss decision framework. The App includes optional premium features available via In-App Purchase.

4. Premium Subscription Terms

Auto-Renewal

Move or Toss offers premium subscriptions on a monthly and annual basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Billing

Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase.

Free Trial

Where offered, free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period to avoid being charged.

Cancellation

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Open the iOS Settings app.
  2. Tap your Apple ID name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Move or Toss.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that date.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. To request a refund, visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com and submit a refund request for the relevant purchase.

5. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Solid Systems, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.

6. AI Features

The App includes an optional AI Exploder feature that sends item content to Anthropic, PBC for processing. By enabling AI features, you consent to the transmission of item titles and notes to Anthropic as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke this consent at any time in Settings → AI → Revoke.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Solid Systems, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in San Francisco County, California.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
