Privacy Policy

Move or Toss ("the App", "we", "us") is operated by Solid Systems, Inc. We take your privacy seriously. This document describes what data we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Plain English Summary

• We use Supabase to handle sign-in.
• Premium subscriptions are handled directly by Apple's App Store; your subscription status is verified on your device and is not shared with any third party.
• When you use the AI Exploder feature, we send the title and notes of the specific item you select to Anthropic, PBC. Nothing else.
• We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not track you across apps or websites.

Data Processors

Supabase, Inc. — Authentication

We use Supabase, Inc. (USA) to authenticate users. Supabase receives your email address — or, if you use Sign in with Apple, the (optionally private) relay email Apple provides — and assigns a stable user identifier. See Supabase's privacy policy at https://supabase.com/privacy.

Anthropic, PBC — AI Exploder Feature

When you explicitly enable AI features and tap "Explode" on an item, we send the following fields to Anthropic, PBC (California, USA):

• title — the text title of the item you selected
• notes — the notes field of the item you selected (if any)

No other fields are sent. Specifically, we do NOT send: your user identifier, your other items, your subscription status, your zones, your bucket assignments, or any device information.

You may revoke AI consent at any time in Settings → AI → Revoke. After revocation, no further data will be sent to Anthropic from the App.

What We Collect and Store Ourselves

• Your items, instances, chunks, and the metadata around them (titles, notes, importance tier, bucket, zone, completion state).
• Anonymous telemetry about how the app is used (gesture types, cap-resolution events, surface refreshes) — this is used to improve the Surface Score algorithm. It does not include item text.
• Your premium subscription status, determined on your device from your Apple App Store purchases (not received from any third-party subscription service).

What We Do Not Collect

• Location data.
• Contacts, calendar, photos, or any other system permission.
• Tracking identifiers.

Children

Move or Toss is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us at [email protected]. We will delete your data within 30 days of receiving your request.

We will post any changes to this policy at https://moveortoss.app/privacy. Material changes will be communicated in-app.
